About the role
Our Consolidation team, composed of 4 people, is integrated in the Corporate Finance department and focuses on account consolidation in collaboration with the Group Accounting and Reporting team.
As a Consolidation Specialist, you will work on consolidation, analysis and reporting to support Corporate Finance. You will get the opportunity to contribute to Solvay’s financial health and have a positive impact on our financial transparency.
You will be accountable for:

- The consolidation of Solvay results prepared on a monthly basis to provide timely insight into the business performance to the Executive Leadership Team,
- The preparation of the Solvay external financial reporting for all the Group’s financial stakeholders, published on a quarterly basis, including the Annual Integrated Report,
- Compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements,
- The analysis of the Group’s portfolio movements and the simulation of the related impacts on the Group financials in close cooperation with the M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) department,
- Maintaining and monitoring relevant internal controls applicable to the consolidation process.

About you
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Economics; CPA is a plus. Relevant work experience in a similar accounting or finance position in a multinational environment.
Team player with internal customer focus. Problem-solving and result-oriented. Process management skills and strong experience in data analytics.
About the pay
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 70 000 - € 80 000 per year in Belgium.
Your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
