We're looking for an Associate Mechanical Designer to join our team in Puchong, Malaysia. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career mechanical design professional looking to develop hands-on product development experience within a global organization.

You’ll Support Meaningful Work By:

Creating and maintaining 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.

Supporting product development activities from concept through implementation.
-
Assisting with engineering changes, documentation updates, and product data management.

Collaborating with engineers, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional partners to support project objectives.

Participating in design reviews and helping ensure designs meet quality, cost, and manufacturability requirements.

Supporting prototype development, testing activities, and design validation efforts.
-
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Exposure to creating and maintaining 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings through academic projects, internships, or professional experience.

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
Portfolio Requirement
Please attach a portfolio showcasing CAD models, engineering drawings, academic projects, internship work, or other relevant design examples. Applications submitted with a portfolio will be prioritized for review.
Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with 3D CAD software; exposure to Creo is preferred, although candidates with experience in other major CAD platforms are encouraged to apply.

Internship, academic project, or work experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing environments.

Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

Understanding of engineering documentation and change management processes.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
