Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certification in quality control, manufacturing technology, or a related field.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards such as ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in using digital inspection tools and software.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to assess product specifications and identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Document inspection results accurately and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance and production teams.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to investigate quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all inspection activities.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration is up to date to guarantee measurement accuracy.
